How to check when a Workable job was posted

Workable publishes the date each job was first published. The checker shows it as the original posting date.

Which dates Workable publishes

Workable's public job data includes a published date. The checker shows it as "Originally posted", with the job's age.

None of the live Workable postings we checked had an updated date or a closing date. So Workable results don't include a "Last updated" line or a closing date.

If the job is closed or missing

Workable answers a missing job with a 404 and nothing more. The checker can't tell whether the job was taken down or the company name in the link is wrong, so it shows "Closed or no longer listed" for both.

How to spot a Workable job

Workable postings are at apply.workable.com/{company}/j/{code}, where the code is a string of capital letters and numbers. The application form is the same address with /apply added.

Some links leave the company out: apply.workable.com/j/{code}. Workable redirects those to the full address, and the checker follows that redirect before it reads the job.

Check a Workable link

Paste the company's apply link into the Job Age Checker. The short /j/{code} link works as well as the full one. LinkedIn and Indeed links are refused.

Paste the link from the company's careers site or its hiring system (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workday).
