How to check when a BambooHR job was posted
BambooHR publishes a posted date for each job, as a day with no time attached. The checker uses it as the original posting date.
Which dates BambooHR publishes
The job data on a BambooHR careers site includes a datePosted value such as 2026-01-02. The checker shows it as "Originally posted", with the job's age.
None of the live BambooHR postings we checked had an updated date or a closing date. BambooHR results don't include a "Last updated" line or a closing date.
If the job is closed or missing
On BambooHR a 404 means the job is gone. A company name BambooHR doesn't know gets a redirect to BambooHR's own website instead, so a 404 only comes from a careers site that exists and no longer has the job. You'll see "Closed or no longer listed".
That makes BambooHR's closed result firmer than the one for Greenhouse, Lever or SmartRecruiters, which answer a missing job and a missing company the same way. If the company name in the link is wrong, the check ends in an error rather than a closed result.

BambooHR postings are at {company}.bamboohr.com/careers/{number}. The checker reads the job from that same careers site with one request.
