By accessing or using Cursu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Cursu is an AI-powered job application assistant that provides:

• Job posting analysis and match scoring against your resume
• Keyword extraction and gap identification
• AI-optimized resume rewriting for specific roles
• Cover letter generation tailored to job requirements
• Application form automation (with your explicit review and approval)
• Job scraping and tracking from supported platforms

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your profile and resume
• Use the service for legitimate, personal job searching purposes only
• Review all AI-generated content and automated actions before submission
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Use the service to scrape, harvest, or collect data beyond intended job search use
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or subscription restrictions
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the service infrastructure
• Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose

4. Subscription and Billing

Cursu offers free and paid subscription tiers with different feature limits and token allocations:

• Starter (free): Limited monthly token usage, basic analysis features, and job tracking.
• Accelerator: Expanded token limits, unlimited analyses, and assisted application features.
• Elite: Maximum token allocation, full automation capabilities, and cover letter generation.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal; access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Third-Party Services

Cursu depends on third-party services to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these services:

• Google Gemini: AI analysis and content generation. Subject to Google's terms of service.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's terms.

6. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Cursu is a tool to assist your job search. We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or any specific employment outcomes. AI-generated analysis, match scores, and recommendations are advisory only. You are responsible for reviewing all content before using it in applications and for making your own career decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your resume, profile data, and any content you create or upload. We retain ownership of the Cursu software, algorithms, AI prompts, analysis methods, and user interface design.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cursu is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities arising from your use of the service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of Cursu after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
