How to check when a Recruitee job was posted
On Recruitee jobs the checker can show two dates: when the job was first published and when it was last updated. Greenhouse is the only other hiring system that gives it both.
Which dates Recruitee publishes
Recruitee's public job data has a published date and an updated date. The checker shows the first one as "Originally posted". If the updated date is different, it adds a "Last updated" line too.
The updated date moves every time someone edits the job, so it can be a lot newer than the original. One live Recruitee job we checked was first published on 28 August 2026 and last updated on 8 October 2026. To see how long a job has been up, go by "Originally posted".
Recruitee also keeps a created date, which can be from before the job was published. The checker goes by the published date instead.
If the job is closed or missing
Recruitee returns the same 404 for a missing job and a company name it doesn't know. The checker can't tell which it is, so it shows "Closed or no longer listed". If you think the job is still open, check the company name in the link.
Recruitee has a closing-date field, but it was empty on every live job we checked. The checker doesn't read it, so it never shows a closing date for Recruitee jobs.
How to spot a Recruitee job
Recruitee postings are at {company}.recruitee.com/o/{job-name}. The application form is the same address with /c/new added.
The checker reads Recruitee directly only for links on {company}.recruitee.com. Some companies show their Recruitee jobs on their own careers domain instead. A link like that is checked like any other careers page, from the page's structured data if it has any.
Check a Recruitee link
Paste the company's apply link into the Job Age Checker. A link ending in /c/new works as well as the plain posting link. Don't paste LinkedIn or Indeed links.
