Type a job in by hand

Some jobs don't have a link you can use: a role you heard about, a posting you've only seen as a PDF. You can type the job in yourself.

One list, however a job arrives

You don't have to pick one way of adding jobs and stick to it. Use whichever is quickest when you find the job: a pasted link when someone sends you one, or typing it in when there's no link at all. The job ends up in the same list either way.

Every job is scored

However a job gets in, it gets a score from 0 to 100 against your profile, equivalent skills count toward it, and its keywords show which are in your profile and which are gaps. So you can compare jobs on how well they fit you, not just on how they're written.

When you update your resume, Cursu offers to re-score the jobs you've saved.

LinkedIn and Indeed links

Cursu doesn't read the content of LinkedIn or Indeed pages. If you find a job there, look up the company's own posting and paste the company's apply link instead.

A short example

Say you find three postings in one evening. You paste the three company links into the app. The next morning you type in a role a friend mentioned. You now have four jobs, each with a 0 to 100 score and its keywords. Start with the one that scores highest.

Check the posting first

Before you spend time on a saved job, check that it's still open. The free Job Age Checker shows when a posting was first published and whether it's still open.
