Chrome extension: we fill it, you review and hit Submit

Application forms ask for the same things again and again. The Cursu Chrome extension fills in the employer's application form for you and attaches the resume you tailored for that job.

Then it stops, and you review the form and hit Submit. The extension never submits for you.

What it does

On an employer's application form, the extension fills in the fields and attaches your tailored resume for that job.

You confirm your contact details once. The extension fills only the details you confirmed.

It only fills fields it's sure about. It leaves salary, work authorization, demographic questions, free-text answers and checkboxes to you, and a panel lists what it filled and what still needs you.

What it leaves to you

Reading the form is your job. Check each answer, fix anything that's wrong, and press Submit yourself when you're happy with it. Nothing is submitted until you do.

We built it this way on purpose. You put your name to an application, and only you know whether every answer on it is right. Having a form filled in saves you typing, but having it sent without you looking is a risk you didn't ask for. So the extension types and attaches, and you decide.

What to check on a filled form

Write the free-text answers yourself. The extension leaves them blank, and they're the ones that most need your own words. Check that the attached resume is the tailored one for this job and not an earlier version. Look at any question the employer added for this role, such as notice period or location. If any of it is wrong, change it on the form before you hit Submit.

Which forms it fills

In the first Chrome Web Store release, the extension fills application forms on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. If an employer uses a different system, the extension doesn't fill that form.

Add a job from the page you're on

The extension also has an Add to Cursu button. It sends the job page you're looking at to Cursu in one click, without opening the app. It only takes a direct company apply link. Cursu doesn't read the content of LinkedIn or Indeed pages, so if you find a job there, open the company's own posting and add that.

Where it fits

The extension is the last step. You add a job to Cursu, see its match score, tailor your resume to it and review the changes. Then you open the employer's form, the extension fills it and attaches that tailored resume, and you check it and submit.

On your phone

On a phone you can copy each field with a tap and download your tailored resume as a Word file.

Install

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Before you apply

Check the posting first. The free Job Age Checker shows when a job was first published, when it was last updated (Greenhouse and Recruitee only) and whether it's still open. It works on company job links from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Workday, and on other company job pages that publish structured posting data.
